The asset management company was founded in 2023 by Michael Bögli, Christian Senn, Dieter Schärer and Dieter Preiswerk. The firm provides multi-family office, wealth management, and comprehensive financial advisory services for wealthy clients and families. ORIGIN OF THE NAME LIMMIG
The name "LIMMIG" is an informal variant of the river name "Limmat," a river in Switzerland that originates in the Glarnerland as the Linth and diverges from Lake Zurich as the Limmat. From there, it meanders through the Limmat Valley to Brugg in the canton of Aargau, where it flows into the Aare River. The Limmat flows through the city of Zurich, dividing it into two parts: Zurich on the right bank and Zurich on the left bank. Along the Limmat, you will find numerous sights and historic buildings, including the Zurich Town Hall, the Fraumünster, and the Grossmünster.
